Exploring the Mystical Land of Hampi: A Journey Back in Time

Day 2: Serenity at Chamundi Hill and St. Philomena's Church: On day two, I made my way to Chamundi Hill, a sacred place that offers a panoramic view of Mysuru. Climbing up the steps to reach the top, I was greeted by the awe-inspiring Chamundeshwari Temple, dedicated to the goddess Durga. The tranquility of the surroundings and the breathtaking vista of the city below made the ascent worthwhile. Later, I visited St. Philomena's Church, a magnificent Gothic-style structure that left me spellbound with its towering spires and stunning stained glass windows.

Day 3: Cultural Extravaganza at Mysuru Dasara Festival: No visit to Mysuru is complete without experiencing the world-renowned Mysuru Dasara Festival. I was fortunate to be there during this time of the year, and the city was alive with excitement and festivity. The vibrant processions, traditional music and dance performances, and the grandeur of the illuminated Mysuru Palace during the festival left an indelible mark on my heart. It was an immersive cultural experience that showcased the rich heritage and traditions of Karnataka.
