Kozhikode
Relaxing on the Beaches

Welcome to my personal travel blog on Kerala’s Kozhikode Beach, one of the most popular tourist destinations.

Located on the Malabar coast, Kozhikode Beach is known for its serene and picturesque surroundings. The beach is also known as Calicut Beach, named after the city it is located in.

I arrived at Kozhikode Beach in the evening, just as the sun was setting. The beach was already bustling with activity, with locals and tourists alike enjoying the cool breeze and stunning views of the Arabian Sea.

As I walked along the beach, I was struck by the beauty of the surroundings. The clear blue waters, the golden sands, and the lush greenery surrounding the beach all combined to create a truly breathtaking scene.

While visiting Kozhikode Beach, I was able to taste some of the local cuisine that made it a memorable experience. The beach is home to numerous food stalls and restaurants, offering a wide variety of seafood dishes and other local delicacies.

A serene ambiance, picturesque views and stunning sunsets are some of the attractions of the beach.

One of the highlights of my trip was watching the sunset over the Arabian Sea. The colors of the sky changed from bright orange to a deep red as the sun disappeared into the horizon, creating a truly magical moment.

One of the most memorable experiences of my visit was taking a stroll along the famous Kozhikode Beach Walkway. This scenic promenade runs along the beach and offers stunning views of the sea and the surrounding landscape.

There are also many local vendors selling delicious street food along the beach, such as samosas and fried fish. I highly recommend trying the local cuisine, as it is a great way to experience the culture of the area.

During my visit, I spent most of my time walking along the beach, taking in the stunning scenery and enjoying the gentle breeze. The beach is well maintained and clean, making it a great spot for a picnic or a quiet moment alone.O

Overall, my visit to Kozhikode Beach was an incredible experience. The natural beauty of the beach, combined with the delicious food and exciting activities, made it a truly unforgettable destination. If you’re ever in Kerala, be sure to check out Kozhikode Beach for yourself!

V.K Krishna Menon Musuem

Next on my itinerary is the visit to the V. K. Krishna Menon Museum.

The entry fees for adults is 10 INR and free for childern below 12 years. The museum is open to the public from 10 am to 4:30 pm on all days except Mondays and national holidays, and visitors are allowed to take photographs inside the museum.

The museum is named after V. K. Krishna Menon, a prominent Indian diplomat and politician who served as India’s Defence Minister from 1957 to 1962.

The museum was established to commemorate the life and contributions of V. K. Krishna Menon. From his childhood to his political career, the museum displays a collection of personal belongings, photographs, and documents. There is also a library in the museum that contains books about politics, international relations, and history.

Mesmerizing Musuem

A popular destination for visitors interested in learning about the life and contributions of one of India’s most influential political figures, providing a glimpse into the political and social history of India, as well as the life of one of its most prominent leaders.

An exhibit that emphasizes his contribution to India’s independence struggle is one of the most interesting. There are photographs and documents on display that relate to the Indian National Congress and the various freedom movements that led to India’s independence in 1947.

The musuem is located in Menon’s ancestral home, which has been converted into a musuem showcasing his life and achievements. It also houses a collection of photographs, documents, personal belongings, and memorabilia related to Menon’s life.

Anyone interested in Indian history and politics should visit the V K Krishna Menon Museum. It offers a unique glimpse into the life and achievements of one of India’s most distinguished statesmen.
